I have spent the better part of this morning listening to Geek. Farm. Life Podcast and now I’m jonseing for the Royal to open and to have a few sheep or goats of my own.
Now that I’m having some rather filthy thoughts about the food they sell at the fair like the shaved roast buffalo (or is it bison?) sandwich with mustard and fudge from Maple Leaf Fudge. It’s all very tasty and I make a point to pick up a candy apple and a bag of candied almonds simply because as kids when we would go with my parents they would buy my sister and I each a candy apple and themselves a bag of the almonds. For the life of me I can’t remember whether or not my brother got an apple or if he preferred a different treat.
I have added a count down meter to my side bar to hopefully keep me on track with my plan to spin up half of my fiber stash before the fleece auction. The theory being that if I get through half my fiber stash by then I will treat myself to a fleece at the auction.
